Our
Story
Our story began in the fall of 2015, when the first pickleball games were played in Habersham County — and from Day One, it was apparent that this sport (new to most of us), was much fun, good exercise, challenging, a great social venue and addictive. And as our numbers began to grow and we learned new skills, we became even more involved.

Habersham County Pickleball Club, Inc.
We are a domestic non-profit 501(c)3 club nestled in the North East Georgia Mountains.
We welcome all levels from beginner to advanced to join us. Being a part of our Pickleball Club is as easy as signing up for our newsletter.
We play on our beautiful six lighted outdoor courts and six indoor courts. Our players range in age from 12 to 80+ and we welcome you to join in for a friendly, casual or competitive game.

What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels. Rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport.
