Dear Friend of the Habersham County Pickleball Club,

 

We want to let you know of an exciting opportunity to advertise and promote your business, while helping us achieve our Club’s goals. Did you know?  Pickleball is the fastest-growing racquet/paddle sport in America!  And amidst this phenomenal growth, we at the Club are working hard to expand our outreach and achieve our goals. As you know, we aim to foster the growth of pickleball in our community and thereby provide abundant opportunities for social and physical activity.  

 

Hosting fund-raising events is how the Club—a non-profit corporation—can achieve these goals. We make donations to local charities and to our Parks and Recreation Department, for the benefit of all residents and participants.

 

Our 2025 event donation recipients included:

• Donations to Circle of Hope, Habersham Chamber of Commerce for the GA Flex Program, Meals on Wheels and the Soup Kitchen.

• Toy and cash donations to the Habersham Sherrif Department "Shop with a Hero" Program

• Food donation to Share the Harvest hosted by the Habersham County Commissioners

Our ambitious 2026 projects include:

• Donation to the Freedom Hill Recovery Home for Womens to Circle of Hope, Habersham County Chamber of Commerce for the GA Flex Program, Meals on Wheels and the Soup Kitchen.

• An AED to the Habersham County Parks and Recreation Department to be placed at Diamond Memorial ball field. 

 

An opportunity to advertise and promote your business is available each year with our fundraising campaign starting in February each year. These sponsorships signs will be posted for our annual tournament - PickleSham Palooza - in May of each year.

 

Having dedicated permanent courts allows us to host regional tournaments, bringing players and tourists from within Georgia and surrounding states to our community. The 2026 tournament brought 139 players and many spectators from twenty-four cities outside of Habersham County and 4 states.

 

A portion of the registration proceeds and sponsorships for this tournament will be donated to The Freedom Hill Recovery Home for Women.
